As we move into April, finals are approaching, graduation is approaching, and endless projects are wrapping up. It seems like once Spring hits, the schedule and to do list take-off like never before. At times like these, I find it’s more important than ever to stay focused on what’s important. It’s so easy to get caught on all the little details when there is so much going on, but taking time to step back and look at the big picture is more necessary than ever.
It’s important to remember the tasks that are significant to you personally, rather than what dictates your attention based off of grades or priority. It’s more fulfilling in the long run to focus on the things that seem just as important year round, not because of a random deadline or a looming exam. Keep those priorities in mind when entering into a particularly busy or stressful time. Gaining that perspective can be the key to keeping cool while there are a million things going on.
